Print Advice:I Lied to Him
I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year now.We are in a long distance relationship and we live 4 hours away from each other. When we first met on the internet I lied and said that I was a year older than what I was because I figured that we would never meet anyways.
Now that we are together and its been close to a year I just can't live with the guilt anymore. I'm in love with him and he loves me toobut I'm so scared to tell him the truth. I don't want to lose him. I just don't know how to tell him .
You need to tell the truth to your boyfriend because no relationship can last without honesty. If he decides to break it off with you because he cannot trust you then, that will be the consequence.
The most important goal for you is to find out God's will for your life and become a young woman of character. God can help you with that.

It will take courage to tell him the truth but, courage and truthfulness are character qualities which are sorely lacking in this generation but sorely needed for life and relationships.
