Sticky Garlic Wings
by Nicole Moisey 1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. chilli sauce
½ cup soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. coarse black pepper
2 lbs. (1 kg) chicken wings, tips removed and cut in half joint
Preheat oven to 375F. Combine all ingredients except chicken, mixing well. Place cut-up wing pieces in sprayed shallow baking pa. Pour chilli-soy mixture over top and stir to coat.
Bake 10 minutes, stir, and bake another 10 minutes. Continue stirring every 10 minutes and baking until sauce has become very dark and sticky (about 3/4 hour). Remove from oven and stir several times in next 10 minutes. Sauce will get stickier and coat wings completely.
Serve with sesame seeds over top if desired. Serves 4.
