Dear Prayer Partner,
In British Columbia's Interior, the weather has been so hot, that over 300 forest fires are burning, causing people to be evacuated from their homes. Even in this tragic time, we see the power of God's hand on this earth. As the flames of these fires consume the trees and all that comes in its' paths, pray that the flames of God will consume the hearts of us as we pray, and the hearts of those we are praying for.

COMMUNITY PRAYER CONCERNS:
- Ambreen (One of our writers): She struggles with M.S. Pray that God would give her strength as she is not feeling very well.
- Lea: Pray for one of our chatters. She is very depressed and needs healing. It's hard for her to open up even to her counselor.
- Christine: Please pray for my daughter who is 13 years old and is possibly at the beginning of an eating disorder.
- One of our chatters: Please pray for my emotions. I am wanting to run from them. There is so many memories coming forward. I do not know how to handle all of it. I have not seen my bio. father, by choices, for almost 2 months... Pray that I do not have to have any contact with him soon. Please pray for my insurance. The coverage for mental health has reached its limit. My counselor, my nurse pract. and I are petitioning for more sessions to be covered. Pray for the night times for me. They are extremely hard. Even the act of just going to bed is difficult... falling asleep and staying asleep is worse.
- Jeanna: That my husband will surrender his heart and repent and rededicate his life to Christ. And that our marriage will be all that God has designed it to be.
- vbrummitt: My husband was laid off last week, and I am a stay-at-home mom. The blessing is that he received a generous severance package, so we should not be strained for several months, but the struggle is that he was high enough in the company that finding a similar position might be tough.
- gloworm: Having difficulty in my relationship, which has since created a nervous stomach. My boyfriend has alot of anger from previous life built up and tends to lash out at me for no apparent reason. Very depressed and lonely. Need a prayer to lift me out of my depressing and sickness.
- Dana: Just seemed to be the blacksheep of my family. I use to be a really good Christian until I've been hurt so bad by people. Just need the strength to carry on. I want to go to school for nursing and don't have the money to succeed, have three children and divorced.
- Ivy: Married to a violent man. Our online counsellor hasn't heard from her for a week, and is am afraid something bad has happened to her.
- Kim: Violent husband
- Shiny: Many problems, pray for help in overcoming a bad habit.
- Jami: Husband into homosexuality
- Serena (Chinese Editor): Her trip to Taiwan from Aug. 4th to 13th . I will seek for the opportunity to preach gospel to my in-law, Mr. Wang (my eldest sister's father in-law) when is in hospice currently and suffers with lung/bone cancers. I will accompany most of time. My mom gets Chemo therapy injection every three weeks and will get another catscan in two month to find out if the lymphoid cell from leukemia in the stomach getting smaller. She will take another examine to see if the Lymphoid cell in the stomach has decreased in two months. Praise the Lord! She did not have side effect so far. Please continue to pray for the minimum side effect and the effectiveness of chemo therapy.

CHINESE WOMEN TODAY:
- Pray for our new August issue. May our Lord draw more traffic to our site and edify readers through every article, email mentoring and Chat room.
- Pray for God's wisdom and resources to promote the site to Chinese around the world. Pray that God will keep bringing more visitors from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Asia countries/cities.
- Pray for God's calling and provision of writers wisdom to write Chinese articles. We need more articles written by Chinese women to be placed into our site.
- Establishment/training of a core group of Chinese mentor team.
- God's calling more prayer warriors to guard our ministry.
