Scent of a Woman

Have you ever wondered why one woman’s fragrance seems like an elegant signature, while the scent of another sends you groping for a gas mask?

A fragrance blends with body chemistry to create a unique scent. To find one that complements you, try a few. Remember, though, the nose gets confused if it smells more than three fragrances in a row.

Layering your scent using several products--body lotion, bath powder, perfume--with the same fragrance will result in a fuller bouquet. And since fragrance rises, spray from your ankles up. Spraying it on your skin, instead of your clothes, will allow it to linger and mellow.

Avoid dabbing on that sensuous scent with your fingers since your skin’s oil may corrupt what’s left in the bottle. Perfumes and colognes also deteriorate quickly when exposed to heat and light.

With a bit of discretion and discernment, you can create an appealing signature scent.
